Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MetaCard’s website, applications, and card services. By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. The Services may be unavailable or restricted in certain jurisdictions, and card features are provided through regulated issuing partners subject to their own eligibility rules.
Self-custody & your responsibilities
MetaCard is non-custodial. You are solely responsible for:
- securing your wallet, private keys, and recovery phrases;
- the accuracy of information you provide;
- all activity that occurs through your account or connected wallet.
We cannot recover lost keys or reverse on-chain transactions.
The card
Cards are issued by our regulated partners and operate on supported card networks. Spending limits, fees, and availability are described in-product and may change. You agree to use the card lawfully and not for prohibited activities.
Fees
The one-time activation fee and any applicable network or conversion fees are disclosed before you confirm a transaction. We do not charge monthly account fees for standard plans.
Prohibited use
You agree not to use the Services for illegal activity, sanctioned transactions, money laundering, fraud, or any purpose that violates card-network rules or applicable law.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Digital assets are volatile and carry risk. MetaCard does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaCard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your failure to secure your wallet credentials.
Changes & termination
We may update these Terms or suspend the Services at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
